The goal was to accelerate the launch of a new mobile accounting app for sole proprietors. Thanks to our fintech expertise, we joined the project within a week and ensured delivery in line with the client’s requirements and deadlines.
Under the client’s guidance, we assembled a cross-functional team including backend, iOS, Android, and DevOps engineers, along with QA, design, and analytics support.
The first priority was auditing the existing codebase, fixing critical issues, and improving system reliability. DevOps engineers set up environments and automated deployments within two weeks. Together with the client, we defined a new architecture based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), enabling scalable infrastructure management and reducing manual operations.
We implemented a service-oriented architecture to decouple business logic from auxiliary services, making the system more flexible and easier to adapt to changing business needs.
Most of the application was rebuilt from scratch. We added core accounting features such as tax calculation and payment, reporting, online account operations, payment reminders, and multi-bank account management. A user profile system was introduced to eliminate repeated data entry, and bank integrations were stabilized. A built-in chat assistant was added to help users resolve issues quickly.
The main development phase took about two months. Together with the client, we delivered a new mobile application that acts as a personal accountant for sole proprietors, allowing them to manage taxes, submit reports, and handle finances directly from their smartphone.
The app significantly expanded the functionality of the online accounting service and led to a 7× increase in the user base. The project continues to evolve, with new payment methods, subscription plans, and modules being added.
