Our team, comprising an architect, backend developer, DevOps engineer, UX/UI specialist, analyst, and QA engineer, collaborated to address both user-facing aspects and technical intricacies. We examined a total of 60 web screens and 120 mobile screens to ensure a comprehensive audit.
For the user-level audit, we employed various research methods, including usability testing. Key obstacles such as cluttered screens, complex ordering processes, deviation from design guidelines, and style inconsistencies were identified. These factors not only impact customer loyalty but also hinder the achievement of the business's sales KPIs.
Our research revealed that the mobile channel extended beyond the mobile app, with customers also utilizing the web platform through mobile browsers for placing orders. Given the company's market growth and ambitions, stringent requirements for IT system reliability and security were identified. Our detailed technical audit pinpointed risk areas, highlighted growth opportunities without costly overhauls, and formulated a tailored set of recommendations.
We devised a customer care strategy for the company and outlined a streamlined ordering process to simplify product search, address input, payment, and delivery order placement. Additionally, detailed recommendations were provided for optimizing code, application architecture, database queries, and enhancing speed and reliability.
